I completely understand the perspective presented, the frustration as well. What I question is the stance that it was plotted in the fashion detailed and completely deliberate.

Skateboards (hard goods) are the life blood of the barebone industry. The "3" don't own any of them. Footwear portion generates 10 fold the revenue, but I think saying we have lost reigns of the industry is a bit much in my mind.

The "3" have been part of skateboarding since the 70's. 70s, 80's and 90's there wasn't one peep or give back from them on the level they are now.

During the same time we lost many of our skate brands to corp. umbrellas. VANS. Other skate brands have branched out to support every other extreme culture out there.

Our own have sold out in unison with the "3" cashing in.

Pick your poison. There is no clean avenue to take, if you think so your playing yourself.

That all said, I have paged Mulder to check into the connection with the skate industry and the CIA, DOD, and such.

Amazing.
