Being able to see past one's own nose is an important feature. I am not defending the "3". I am reverting back to the fact that everyone ran them and still do for the most part when they aren't skating. But now "birdomania" has become the new fixed gear for progressive thought individuals.
Just presenting some facts from the past that might need to be taken into account. The other side of the coin has to be glanced at when it is flipped, or you don't know what could be.
In addition, I think much of the voice against has to do with the few getting flustered cause they are losing riders to the "3".
