I would hope he wore the shoes cause he liked the way they looked, fit, and skated. Nothing more.

I understand the thought process of attaching reasoning to everything we do, but that in many cases taints it for me.

Howard, Mariano, and Pupecki rode for one of the earlier efforts by Converse to get into the skateboarding footwear market.

Throwing stones meets flavor of the month in terms of what people that are generally unhappy with there own lifes, so they misdirect frustration to things that don't effect there everyday lifes. It only does now, because it is self inflicted.

Skateboarders have always wore: Nike, CONS, and Adidas

Do we have a right to take warning when said corps decided to "maximize" an existing avenue? 100%

Because we know they are "fare weather" to put it mildly. Their track records are proof.

To each their own. Battles should be chosen by the individual, not by self placed prophets.
